The musical revolves around fraternal twins Mickey and Eddie who were separated at birth. Full of humour, emotion and tears everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Also, a group of S5 and S6 Higher and Advanced Higher pupils recently attended the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, to take in a performance of ‘The Crucible’. Mrs Valerie Livingston, drama teacher, reported that the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the traditional production. They were impressed and intrigued with the very modern, all wooden set, and felt that the professional performance was highly emotive and engaging.
For the Higher pupils, seeing the production was essential, as it a piece of work that they study all year. The outing was just as beneficial for the Advanced Higher pupils who took a lot of inspiration from the actors, ahead of their performance exams which are coming up.
