Clyde Valley High School have been hugely involved in an anti-sectarianism project over the last few months. Raising awareness and highlighting the issues surrounding the problem of sectarianism. This has involved presentations and workshops by different companies who tackle this issue such as Nil By Mouth and Sense over Sectarianism. The project was funded by Made for you in ML2 and Sense over Sectarianism. The project was celebrated in Clyde Valley High School on Monday 8th June with the other schools involved, St Aidans and Coltness. exhibiting their artwork and the premier of CVHS A-Z on sectarianism and the drama group performing their own play. | |
The other strand was a group of pupils from S1-S3 working with an the animator Martin Greechin to create an A-Z animation on sectarianism. These pupils used stop motion animation to highlight the words that they thought were thought(?) provoking and powerful. These pupils also showed how hard working, determined and creative they were and both groups have got alot to be proud of. Well done!!!
